Taco Soup for Dinner

This Taco Soup is a fast meal on a cold night. Perfect before you must rush back out after work to take the kids to practice. Super fast and Super easy. Enjoy!

Taco Soup

1/2 pound ground beef
1 chopped onion
1 can diced tomatoes
1 can Rotel
1 can tomato sauce
1 packet taco seasoning
1 packet Ranch Dressing mix
1 can corn
2 cans pinto beans
1 can water

Brown the meat with onions then add everything else. Perfect with cornbread.

**as a side note: you can substitute just about anything in here. If you prefer turkey over beef, go for it. If you don't do spicy add 2 cans tomatoes and leave out the Rotel. If you like black beans instead of pinto beans, knock your socks off. Cooking should be fun, not stressful.

Enjoy, kittens!

I love Marshalls

Hey Kittens- look what mama Kitty found. Goodies.

Found this fab glass jar with brass spigot. 2 1/2 gallons on clearance for $15 bucks. What a deal. But wait, there's more. I have seen the porcelain orbs with letters and numbers and they were Super 'Spensive! But, guess what I found at Marshalls?

Guess how much?

For 24 in a box so I picked up the last 2 they had.

They look awesome! Can you believe it! 48 for $10 bucks!

Whew! We Dodged A Weather Bullet. Today...

The local weathermen and women were predicting maybe, possibly, could get 1 to 2 inches of snow last night. Awoke this morning to nothing, nada, zip. Thank goodness. I know the kids love it and wish so hard the night before for snow days ,but, those make-up days in May will really be killers for them. So, Pete, David, Jennifer, Ron and Rebecca, so glad you were wrong. Today.
